In March 2022, as war engulfed his homeland, Taras Bihus made a life-altering decision. He hung up his snowboard boots—trading the serenity of the mountains for the uncertainty of the battlefield—and volunteered for the Ukrainian military.

For years, Taras had carved his way down Europe’s most iconic slopes, competing at the highest levels and finding purpose in the rhythm of the mountains. But when war came to Ukraine’s doorstep, he knew his next challenge would be far from the peaceful landscapes he once called home.

This film tells the story of a man who, even amid the chaos of war, never lost his connection to the mountains. For Taras, the outdoors represents more than just a passion—it’s a source of strength, solace, and identity. Through breathtaking cinematography and intimate storytelling, we explore how the mountains continue to call him back, offering a place of healing and hope in the midst of unimaginable hardship.
